Location

The first chronic dialysis unit of the “Mesogeios” Group was established in November 2000 in Heraklion, Crete, which has since consistently and seriously provided its services to the local community, while hosting at least 700 Greek citizens and foreign tourists annually. The “Mesogeios” of Crete is located just 10 km from Ammoudara, one of the most beautiful tourist resorts in the Heraklion Prefecture, very close to the archaeological site of Knossos and 5 km away from the Heraklion University Hospital.

Facilities

Unit capacity

The unit has a capacity of 240 patients and is equipped with 40 Fresenius Medical Care 5008S machines.
